About This Project
The site development was coordinated through the Center for the Study and Improvement of Regulation at Carnegie Mellon University. CSIR is based in the Department of Engineering & Public Policy, and CSIR research focuses on the use of science and risk information to support and evaluate regulatory decision making. In cooperation with the Information Systems Program, CSIR is developing a number of interactive tools in areas traffic safety, mortality risk, vehicle technology, and hospital admissions.
