Here is what the Farm Bureau had to say
"The New York Farm Bureau issued a statement last week (PDF) saying it feared that a tax could reach $175 per cow, $87.50 per head of beef cattle and upward of $20 for each hog. "

This has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.....THIS IS THE CHANGE WE HAVE ALL BEEN LOOKING FOR....THANK GOODNESS SOMEONE WITH COMMON SENS....E...OOPS YOU MEAN MCCAIN LOST? HANG ONTO YOUR WALLETS, ESPECIALLY FARMERS.

I am just going to eat more chicken.
