Several things I read in the newspaper today caught my attention. If the writers of these articles were in front of me, I would have to ask questions:
1. If I was in a wreck and was taken to the hospital before the police got arrived, would I have to submit to a blood test?
2. If the police came by my house to ask questions, can I turn them away?
3. I am by no means saying that what Tiger did was wrong(on turning the police away), I think that the average Joe does not know all of his legal rights and by having a lawyer on speed dial that helps.
4. How come when I see a picture of a quarterback in the newspaper or on a webs,ite he looks like a kid? Am I getting old?
5. I have always told my kids, do not look at a sports hero to be a role model...THEY AREN'T.

There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.
And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified.
Late Monday, officials with the Recovery Board created to track the stimulus spending, said the mistakes in crediting nonexistent congressional districts were caused by human error.
"We report what the recipients submit to us," said Ed Pound, Communications Director for the Board.
Pound told ABC News the board receives declarations from the recipients - state governments, federal agencies and universities - of stimulus money about what program is being funded.
"Some recipients clearly don't know what congressional district they live in, so they appear to be just throwing in any number. We expected all along that recipients would make mistakes on their congressional districts, on jobs numbers, on award amounts, and so on. Human beings make mistakes," Pound said.
The issue has raised hackles on Capitol Hill.
Rep. David Obey, D-Wisc, who chairs the powerful House appropriations Committee, issued a paper statement demanding that the recovery.gov Web site be updated.
"The inaccuracies on recovery.gov that have come to light are outrageous and the Administration owes itself, the Congress, and every American a commitment to work night and day to correct the ludicrous mistakes."

Over 90,000 Americans were killed in the Pacific during World War II defending the United States and the world from Japanese aggression. Thank God many of the survivors passed on before they had to witness the President of the United States bowing low to the Emperor of Japan.

Just in time for Veteran's Day, a California bank employee is facing federal charges for allegedly masquerading as a decorated Marine and wearing a host of bogus medals, including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Navy Cross. Steven Burton, 39, is scheduled to surrender tomorrow in U.S. District Court in Riverside, California (Burton, who has never served in the armed forces, was named last week in a misdemeanor criminal information charging him with the unauthorized wearing of military medals).
According to a search warrant affidavit, Burton's charade was discovered after an actual Navy commander, Colleen Salonga, ran into Burton at their high school reunion.
Remember how the Democrats reacted when the Bush Administration started replacing U.S. Attorneys? At least they were actually political appointees employed at the will and whim of the President.
